Job Description
This role supports product development within the region to contribute to growth goals. The candidate will assist in managing the product lifecycle, including helping to create and improve products, evaluating performance, and conducting basic market research to ensure products meet user needs. In service delivery, the role involves supporting the implementation and delivery of regional solutions to local offices, working with various teams to achieve successful outcomes.
This includes assisting with user testing, training, and customer rollout activities. Additionally, the role requires collaboration with cross-regional teams to help standardize products and processes globally, with minor local adjustments as needed. The candidate will also assist the Functional Head in developing global strategies.
- Assist Commercial and Operations teams in bids, quotes, and proposals by providing basic technology advice to meet customer requirements.
- Participate in customer meetings as a subject matter expert.
- Collaborate across teams to help identify business needs and develop simple project plans; break down tasks into actionable items for the team.
- Support tracking of the team's progress to ensure alignment with project timelines.
- Help identify technology opportunities and provide recommendations as needed.
- Assist in evaluating products to spot gaps or issues based on feedback from the market and end-users.
- Contribute to product development by integrating feedback and requests.
- Review product specifications and costs to align with market potential and future growth.
- Support the development of product materials to aid commercial activities.
- Assist in training team members on new products and launches.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help develop marketing tactics and pricing strategies.
- Assist in identifying and addressing internal or external challenges.
- Support the presentation of product performance updates to management.
- Help in streamlining business processes to support IT and business goals.
- Implement solutions within set deadlines.
- Provide support for service delivery activities such as data migration, testing, and training.
- Help develop and implement customer migration plans to ensure smooth transitions.
- Assist in identifying and resolving migration issues.
- Support change management activities to facilitate business transformation.
- Help identify impacts of technology changes and provide basic solutions to maximize positive outcomes.
- Provide post-implementation support as needed.
- Assist in establishing processes and best practices to ensure quality customer solutions and service delivery.
- Substantial general work experience together with comprehensive job-related experience in own area of expertise to fully competent level (preferred 6 to 10 years).
- This is a regional role. Regional experiences, experience in handling three or more countries or exposure to an MNC environment is advantageous.
- Preferred experience leading a team of 4 to 8 people (2 to 4 years).
Candidates must be within 250 miles of an APL Logistics facility or office.
The typical starting salary range for this position is: $100,310 - $143,300. The actual salary offer will take into account multiple factors including skills, experience, education and location. Please note that the salary details listed in role postings reflect the base salary only, not total compensation, which includes bonus and benefits.

- Employees residing within 25 miles of an APL Logistics Hub Office (AZ, FL, MI, NC, OR) are required to follow a designated Hybrid schedule as described below:
Fully on-site, or fully remote schedules are determined based on role and business needs. - Hybrid employees must report to the office 8 days per month, scheduled by their supervisor.
- Warehouse roles are typically fully on-site.
- Candidates outside the 25-mile radius may be considered for fully remote roles, depending on business needs.
Remote work requires full compliance with company policies, including workspace standards, timekeeping, and communication protocols. Commuting costs are not reimbursed. Adherence to this policy is a condition of employment.
