Join HII as we keep the world's most powerful Navy afloat! The Carrier Engineering Maintenance Assist Team (CEMAT) is currently looking for a Logistics Managment Analyst. The person in this role plays a critical part in optimizing the company’s supply chain by analyzing operational data, identifying bottlenecks and driving process improvements. This role ensures products move efficiently from warehouse to customer while proactively addressing risks and disruptions.

Candidates should be detail‑oriented problem solvers with strong logistics and analytical expertise. This is a full-time position, located in Norfolk, VA.

What You Will Do
  • Update and maintain accurate logistics and supply chain data across internal systems.
  • Develop, evaluate and improve logistics policies, procedures and planning documents.
  • Oversee warehouse operations to ensure safe, efficient receiving, storage and shipping of products.
  • Research supply chain risks and operational bottlenecks, implementing proactive solutions to prevent disruptions.
  • Monitor industry trends, innovations and competitor practices to identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Respond to routine and unexpected supply chain disruptions to maintain continuous product flow.
  • Analyze product availability, transportation reliability, inventory control, back orders and fulfillment rates to drive efficiency improvements.
What You Must Have
  • 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.
  • Must be detail orientated, able to work independently, and have strong communication skills.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance and base access.
  • Must be familiar with Microsoft Office products such as Outlook and Excel for utilizing and updating spreadsheets for material tracking purposes.
  • Must be able to maintain positive control of material and procedures to pass internal corporate property audits and external government property audits.
  • Must be able to organize, file, and retain Objective Quality Evidence (OQE) paperwork for records and audit purposes.
Bonus Points For
  • Experience with Costpoint - Purchasing/Receiving financial system.
  • A current, valid DoD security clearance.
  • Experience with Haystack and DLA/DFAS.
  • Experience with Naval equipment/parts.
  • Experience with NAVSEA drawings.
Physical Requirements

Must be able to work in a shipboard environment. Must be able to lift, carry, and transport heavy equipment.
