Overview

JOB SUMMARY:

The Logistics Coordinator ensures design

DATA maintains accurate, controlled, and available equipment inventory to support internal operations and a growing client base. This role is responsible for the accurate tracking, reporting, forecasting, and physical management of all internal and client-owned IT assets.

The Logistics Coordinator plays a critical operational role requiring consistent on-site presence, disciplined time management, and proactive communication. This position directly impacts service delivery, onboarding timelines, inventory accuracy, and financial reconciliation. The role works closely with Procurement, Finance, Operations teams, and Leadership to ensure logistics workflows are efficient, transparent, and aligned with company standards.

Responsibilities
  • Inventory & Asset Management
  • Receive, tag, and accurately record daily inbound deliveries.
  • Process outbound shipments with the shipment courier.
  • Maintain accurate tracking of internal and client-owned assets.
  • Reconcile physical inventory counts with system inventory.
  • Track and document client-owned equipment stored by design

    DATA.
  • Forecast equipment needs to maintain minimum stock levels and prevent shortages or surpluses.
  • Daily Ticket and Workflow Management
  • Provide clear visibility to internal teams regarding equipment availability and ETAs.
  • Ensure requests are processed within established service timelines.
  • Escalate potential delays proactively.
  • Returns, Repairs & Lifecycle Management
  • Process customer return equipment (RMA processing).
  • Coordinate e-cycling vendor for dispose of end-of-life/zero value equipment.
  • Reporting & Analysis
  • Analyze inventory software reports to monitor stock levels and trends.
  • Provide leadership with accurate reporting on usage trends, forecasting, and potential risks.
  • Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.
  • Operational Reliability
  • Maintain consistent on-site presence during scheduled hours.
  • Accurately record time worked and adhere to attendance policies.
  • Communicate proactively regarding schedule changes or operational issues.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Procurement to resolve shipment and vendor issues.
  • Partner with Finance to ensure monthly client equipment invoices are accurate.
  • Collaborate with Operations teams to support onboarding and project needs.
  • Follow all safety standards, regulations, and asset control procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Strong inventory control and asset tracking discipline.
  • Ability to interpret written, oral, and procedural instructions.
  • Ability to draft reports, SOPs, and business correspondence.
  • Effective communicator with internal teams, vendors, and leadership.
  • Strong analytical and forecasting skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
  • Excellent documentation and organizational skills.
  • High level of accountability and self-management.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining transparency.
  • Maintains composure under pressure and deadline-driven environments.
  • Demonstrates professional reliability and consistency.
  • Qualifications
  • College degree preferred or three years of relevant logistics/inventory experience.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CPIM, CSCP) a plus.
  • Proven experience as Logistics Coordinator or similar position.
  • Intermediate knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
  • Working knowledge of inventory management software and MS Office.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage workload independently with minimal supervision.

The majority of work is performed in a professional office setting with a wide variety of people with differing functions, personalities, and abilities. Potential for Hybrid (Work from Home) scenario.
