Mahoney Environmental Solutions is looking for an Inventory Control Analyst to join our team at our Woodridge, IL office. The Inventory Control Analyst optimizes inventory levels by analyzing inventory data, forecasting demand, and ensuring accuracy. This position plays a critical role in establishing standardized processes & procedures to ensure accuracy and consistency across all facilities. This position is responsible for conducting audits, managing ERP system data, reconciling discrepancies, and improving efficiency through cross‑functional collaboration.

This position manages and troubleshoots issues related to Mahoney’s inventory.

Location

Woodridge, IL 3 days in office and 2 days working from home.

Starting Salary

$65,000 -$70,000

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Inventory Monitoring:
    Track inventory levels, analyze trends, and reconcile physical inventory to system balances as applicable, (Oracle, Aegex, ISCC Mass Balance).
  • Data Accuracy & Auditing:
    Reconcile discrepancies among different sources, i.e. route volumes per Oracle/S1 versus receipt log offloaded volumes.
  • Process Improvement:
    Implement procedures to enhance efficiency and consistency. Work with Operations to update, change and maintain procedures where needed.
  • Reporting:
    Generate daily or weekly reports on inventory metrics. Assist in preparation of month‑end yield reports. Perform month end sales tie‑out reporting.
  • Collaboration:

    Work with Accounting and Operations in analysis and information requests.
Required Skills/Abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, proactively drive improvements, and manage multiple topics in parallel.
  • Ability to collect inventory and sales data, identifying and analyzing discrepancies.
  • Ability to maintain detailed records of transactions.
  • Ability to function well in a high‑paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, v‑lookup) and inventory management software/ERP systems.
Education And Experience

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business, Mathematics, or Accounting preferred.

2‑4 years of experience in inventory management, warehousing, or data analytics.
