Job Description & How to Apply Below

At Constant Contact, we are seriously awesome people who take ownership and make an impact by operating with the mindset, integrity and courage of a small business owner. There’s something so profoundly rewarding about knowing that your work is empowering people everywhere to pursue their dreams. Here, we all play an integral part in helping business owners, entrepreneurs, non‑profits and individuals to succeed by giving them all the help and tools they need to grow online.

We’re energized by new challenges and new possibilities—and we’re just getting started!

We are also actively pushing what is possible with AI when it comes to how we work and how we create value for our customers. We see this year as a pivotal moment for how AI will change the product development lifecycle, and we’re doubling down on it in all departments.

We are a hybrid workforce, combining the convenience of remote work with access to our modern office locations for in‑person collaboration, training, and socialization. Here, you’ll find a supportive culture that values inclusivity, risk‑taking, and innovation.

About

The Role

We have an opening for a Principal Product Manager to help us lead the charge in making Constant Contact an AI‑native, mobile‑first marketing platform. This is a high‑leverage “builder” role designed for someone who thrives in ambiguity. Whether you are launching a brand‑new AI‑driven product line or modernizing an existing platform pillar, you will be on the cutting edge of how the product development lifecycle is changing.

You will form clear hypotheses, use AI to test and refine them, and work closely with Design and Engineering to bring ideas to market. The focus is on rapid experimentation and learning as quickly as possible.

What You’ll Do
  • Drive Growth Metrics:
Own the strategy and execution for key growth levers, specifically focusing on customer outcomes.
  • Prove Customer Value:
Develop and defend “strong opinions” on how we demonstrate value to users. You’ll use insightful research and behavioral metrics to build features that make the benefits of Constant Contact impossible to ignore.
  • Lead through Influence:
As a Principal IC, you will lead a group of passionate engineers and designers to deliver a vision that is actionable, research‑backed, and ROI‑driven.
  • Mentor the Craft:
Act as a “multiplier” for the product organization. You will mentor other PMs, leveling up their product discovery, strategic thinking, and execution skills to help the entire team move faster than ever before.
  • Collaborate & Navigate:
Partner with the rest of the organization to clarify requirements and navigate highly complex, ambiguous problem spaces across our squads.
Who You Are

You are a seasoned product leader with a track record of “doing it before.” You understand the nuances of SaaS growth and are passionate about the intersection of design excellence and business results.

  • Experienced Leader: 8+ years in Product Management, specifically within SaaS. You have a proven track record of moving the needle on retention and growth metrics.
  • Strategic & Opinionated:
You don’t just take orders; you bring a perspective on what “good” looks like. You can articulate and defend a product vision to all audiences, including the executive team.
AI Enabled & Exploring

You know that the future of product management and PDLC goes through amplifying your efforts through AI. You are actively trialling and experimenting with tools that help you become a 10x product leader.

  • Mentor & Coach:
You have a natural ability to level up those around you. You value teamwork and can give/solicit the kind of feedback that raises the bar for the entire organization.
  • User Champion:
You can empathize deeply with small business owners and champion their cause throughout the design and development process.
  • Agile & Adaptable:
You thrive in fast‑paced, collaborative environments and can balance the need for great design with the urgency of short deadlines.
  • Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
Nice to Have
  • Experience in the SMB (Small‑to‑Medium Business) space.
  • Background in early‑stage startups or “internal startups”…
