Marketplace Operations Manager

This role offers the opportunity to drive operational excellence at a fast-growing B2B marketplace platform, ensuring that supply, demand, and internal workflows scale efficiently as the business expands. As a Marketplace Operations Manager, you will work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Finance teams to analyze key metrics, remove bottlenecks, and improve supplier and customer onboarding processes. You will be responsible for defining scalable operational playbooks, supporting expansion into new regions or verticals, and enhancing overall marketplace performance.

This position is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, a structured mindset, and experience managing cross-functional projects in dynamic, high-growth environments. You will have autonomy to make impactful decisions while collaborating with teams across Europe in a remote-first setup. With periodic in-person meetups, you will also contribute to fostering a strong team culture and continuous operational improvement.

• Monitor and analyze marketplace KPIs, including liquidity, fulfillment rates, conversion, and margins
• Identify operational bottlenecks across supply and demand and implement solutions to remove friction
• Improve onboarding processes for suppliers and enterprise customers, standardizing workflows
• Collaborate with Product teams to optimize marketplace operations and internal workflows
• Define, document, and maintain scalable operational playbooks to support growth and expansion
• Support launch of new regions or verticals and contribute to cross-functional strategic initiatives
• Partner with Finance to assist in forecasting, performance tracking, and operational reporting

• 4+ years of experience in operations, consulting, marketplace, scale‑up, or B2B environments
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in working with data to inform operational decisions
• Experience managing cross‑functional projects and driving operational improvements
• Structured, process‑oriented mindset with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast‑paced environment
• Fluent English, with excellent communication skills for collaborating across teams
• Previous experience in marketplaces, logistics, supply chain, or B2B platforms is a strong plus
• Comfortable working remotely in a cross‑European, distributed team environment
