The Operations Coordinator supports the day-to-day operations of inventory management and purchasing activities. This role helps ensure products are ordered, tracked, and delivered on time while maintaining accurate records across systems.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and proactive—comfortable juggling multiple priorities and communicating with vendors, warehouses, and internal teams.

You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams—Operations, Finance, Sales, and Logistics—as well as external vendors and distribution partners to maintain a smooth flow of goods from supplier to customer.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management

• Track and maintain inventory levels across multiple warehouses and retail channels.
• Develop, implement, and manage inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Monitor inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery and accurate counts.
• Monitor product availability and identify slow-moving or excess inventory and alert the team to potential stock shortages or overages.

Procurement & Purchasing

• Manage procurement activities for physical goods, packaging, and related materials.
• Assist in forecast purchasing needs based on sales trends, marketing plans, and vendor lead times.
• Process purchase orders based on approved forecasts and product needs.
• Communicate with vendors and suppliers regarding order confirmations, lead times, and delivery schedules.
• Maintain records of purchase orders, invoices, and shipping documents.

Operational Support

• Coordinate product setup and availability for upcoming launches or promotions.
• Work with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure proper labeling, packaging, and delivery requirements are met.
• Support internal reporting on inventory and purchasing activities.
• Identify and report process gaps or opportunities for efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in inventory, procurement, or supply chain management (entertainment, distribution, or consumer goods industry preferred).
• Proven track record of managing complex inventories and vendor relationships.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel and reporting capabilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
