Role

Summary:

Reporting to the National Account Director, the National Account Manager (NAM) will be responsible for leading all sales related activities for assigned Product Groups at Lowe’s. The ideal candidate for this position will be a dynamic individual that possesses a passion for CPG sales, strong presentation skills, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a comprehensive understanding of the retail industry. The NAM will focus on driving sales across current categories, creating opportunities for growth in new categories, and developing relationships with key stakeholders within their account base responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, present, and execute frequent Product Line Reviews (PLR’s). This will require the NAM to develop a category strategy, in conjunction with Sales Leadership, Product Development, and Marketing, and execute that strategy to gain new business.
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with all applicable retail partners. This includes the merchant teams, inventory replenishment, demand planning, logistics, marketing, among others.
  • Ability to self-start and move forward all account management related initiatives in a timely manner.
  • Analyzes POS, market research and trends, and other industry factors, to determine consumer demand, potential sales volume, and identify key areas for growth.
  • Responsible for frequent comp shops, store walks, competitor product analysis, etc.
  • Partner with our internal Sales Support team to provide customer-centric account management approach.
  • Work effectively with our internal departments including Product Development, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and others as needed.
  • Focus on forecast accuracy, in conjunction with our Business and Forecast Analyst teams, incorporating qualitative and quantitative metrics, to maximize inventory efficiency and meet internal and external fill rate requirements.
Essential

Skills and Qualifications
  • Remote position - must be located in the Charlotte Metro Area
  • 5+ years of National Account Management supporting Lowe’s
  • Bachelor’s Degree, in business or a related field, from an accredited institution
  • Proven sales skills, ability to multitask, prioritize, coordinate projects, and meet timelines
  • Demonstrates Globe’s Core Values – Integrity, Creativity/Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Excellence

Travel required as necessary, up to 25%+, including:

  • Customer and/or industry events, shows, etc
  • Market visits for store walks, comp shops, etc
