- Consult with DBEs on estimating and bidding processes, including job costing and material review.
- Analyze blueprints and construction documents for accurate bid submissions.
- Manage bid submission processes including negotiations and award handling.
- Review and improve DBEs' business management and financial accounting practices.
- Assist businesses with bonding requirements and securing financial assistance.
- Help businesses refine their business plans and marketing strategies.
- Conduct market research to identify government contracting opportunities.
- Identify and pursue potential government contracting opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and government agencies.
- Ensure compliance with government contracting regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in government contracting processes including estimating and bidding.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in business development focusing on government contracts.
- In-depth knowledge of SBA programs and federal procurement regulations.
- Strong independent working ability and multi-priority management in remote settings.
- Proficiency in CRM software and business development tools.
- Ability to analyze and interpret blueprints and financial statements.
