Job Description We are looking for an Operations Analyst to join our team in Milan. In this role, you'll be a key player in optimizing our operations, directly influencing user experience (UX) and profitability in a portfolio of cities. You'll work closely with the Operations Manager and other vertical peers to drive growth and efficiency.
THE JOURNEYResponsibilities
As an Operations Analyst, you'll have a direct and tangible impact on the success of our local operations. Your main responsibilities will include:
Driving KPI Performance:
You will be responsible for key UX and Profitability KPIs for a portfolio of cities, conducting in-depth analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and developing strategies to achieve them.
Strategic Analysis & Reporting:
Perform rigorous analysis aimed at improving these KPIs and create high-quality reports and dashboards to provide clear visibility on the performance of our core operational metrics.
Process Improvement:
Provide constant feedback and innovative process improvement ideas to the Operations Manager, ensuring we maintain a scalable and efficient operation.
Courier Engagement:
Take a hands-on approach to ensure the high engagement and satisfaction of our couriers, known as Glovers, by optimizing support processes and being a crucial point of contact for their day-to-day needs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Act as an important point of contact for other vertical peers, such as Commercial and Quality Control Account Managers, ensuring seamless communication and alignment across teams. This role will require a mix of operations, stakeholder management, analytical skills, and creativity to tackle different challenges!
Qualifications
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDERoleWe're looking for someone who is not only a skilled analyst but also a great team player with a passion for our mission. To succeed in this role, you should have:
Strong Academic Background: A degree in a quantitative field such as engineering, economics, mathematics, or statistics.
Professional
Experience:
At least one year of experience in a demanding environment like operations, technology, consulting, or investment banking.
Analytical Prowess:
Advanced Excel skills and strong data interpretation abilities.
A Proactive Mindset:
You are autonomous, full of initiative, and willing to get hands-on and "get your hands dirty" in the field to support our couriers.
Excellent Communication: A great communicator with a problem-solving attitude and an empathetic, inclusive, and curious nature.
Positive Energy:
You have good energy and genuinely enjoy your work, even on challenging days.
Language
Skills:
Professional proficiency in both English and Italian. Individuals representing diverse profiles, and abilities, encompassing various genders, ethnicities, and backgrounds, are less likely to apply for this role if they do not possess solid experience in 100% of these areas.
