Key to the role

Very strong in Excel. Experience with Cliq is very important. Ability to run reports from various tools, place into Excel, and use VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, MATCH INDEX. Creating charts and migrating into presentations. Creating end of month package. Stacking data for a 300‑head organization, ensuring all heads are used, balancing people where needed. Heavy Excel and data chart management.

EDSI/EE Senior Business Analyst (Engine Design and Systems Integration & Engineering Excellence)

We are searching for an experienced Senior Business Analyst who can work with a variety of teams to gather important company data and compile it into Excel reports and PowerPoint slides so department and project managers and executives can use data to make decisions on staffing needs. This role involves preparing and presenting monthly and quarterly plan vs actual manpower requirements and variances to program leads and management.

The ideal candidate must work on multiple projects simultaneously, have good attention to detail, and translate business data into digestible information that improves departmental processes.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Understand where business data resides, learn how to access data from internal company platforms (SAP, Business Warehouse, E‑outsourcing, Qlik, Web EVM, and other ad hoc tools) and produce reports and analysis to meet managers’ and executives’ needs.
  • Prepare monthly program staffing plan vs actual variance reports using Excel and Pivot Tables and present PowerPoint presentations to Chief Systems Engineers and executives at monthly staffing reviews.
  • Coordinate with Org Cams (Cost Account Managers) and Chief Systems Engineers (CSEs) to validate SAP, Web EVM, and Dassian requirements for accurate staffing data and summarize program staffing variances.
  • Work with department managers and Finance Manager to review labor charging, overhead items, expenses, outsourcing actuals, and address general business issues and questions.
  • Determine and document user requirements for business processes and use standard work for future projects, developing plans to improve internal processes.
  • Manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously and meet established deadlines.
  • Provide ad‑hoc reporting in support of key initiatives and executive report outs.
Qualifications And Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Finance or Engineering (with Business Concentration)
  • 4 to 8+ years of associated work experience
  • Superior skills in MS Excel (pivot tables, custom formulas)
  • Strong knowledge of PowerPoint, SAP, Business Warehouse, Qlik
  • Familiar with E‑outsourcing, SharePoint and is a plus
  • Familiarity with PW Project Management processes and EVMS processes & systems
  • Ability to work with cross‑functional teams to drive success
  • Detailed analytical ability with large data sets
  • Demonstrated ability in querying large data sets and efficiently creating customized reports (SAP, Qlik, Business Warehouse, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)
  • Strong ability to clearly communicate at all levels; good communication and presentation skills
