Role Description

We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager for a full-time hybrid role based in Chicago, IL, with some flexibility for remote work. In this position, you will develop and execute strategies to expand the company's client base and build strong relationships with customers to drive growth. Key responsibilities will include identifying new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, managing sales pipelines, creating proposals, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction.

Qualifications
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with experience in business development and client relationship management
  • Knowledge of logistics, supply chain, or freight management processes and industry standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with experience in creating professional proposals and presentations
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools, data analysis software, and other sales and management platforms
  • High levels of self-motivation, problem-solving abilities, and a results-oriented approach
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred
  • Experience in a hybrid work environment or familiarity with remote collaboration tools is a plus
