Business Development Manager; Industrial Water Treatment

One of our clients, a Turkey-based Process-Machinery Manufacturing (Water Treatment) Company is currently looking for a Business Development Manager position, who will be working remotely from Indonesia.

Key Responsibilities
:

• Sales Leadership:
  Leading sales efforts for specific customers and achieving revenue targets;
• Business Development:
  Identifying and attracting new business partners to support project demands and future growth;
• Strategic Planning:
  Developing and executing regional business plans and sales strategies to align with company goals;
• Stakeholder Management:
  Cultivating relationships with key stakeholders, including EPC contractors, municipal and governmental authorities, energy plant and desalination operators, and industrial manufacturers;
• Operational Oversight:
  Managing and tracking country-specific operations effectively;
• Tender Expertise:
  Handling processes related to tender tracking and preparation;
• Presentations and Negotiations:
  Conducting presentations at all organizational levels and negotiating business agreements with intermediary firms and end-users;
• Reporting and Analysis:
  Providing timely sales pipeline updates, forecasts, and reports to senior management;
• Collaboration:
  
  Supporting the finance team in account collections and assisting with marketing strategy development when needed.

Qualifications
:

• Minimum 5 years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably in the water treatment sector;
• Strong understanding of Indonesia water treatment landscape, including municipal and industrial applications;
• Familiarity with local tendering processes and procurement regulations for governmental and private sector projects;
• Experience working with Indonesia’s key industries, including energy, heavy industry, and manufacturing;
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with local EPC contractors, distributors, and consultants;
• Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus);
• Proficiency in sales software and CRM tools;
• Willingness to travel extensively within Indonesia to develop business opportunities and oversee project operations.
