Our client, a leading organization in the federal government contracting sector, is seeking a dedicated Procurement Specialist to join their team. As a Procurement Specialist, you will be an integral part of the Procurement Department supporting various programs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: Arlington, Virginia
What's the Job?- Perform comprehensive procurement administration duties supporting pre-award and post-award activities.
- Collaborate with programs, compliance teams, and suppliers to execute procurement strategies.
- Negotiate procurement terms to secure favorable outcomes aligned with organizational objectives.
- Manage procurement documentation, including agreements, modifications, and contractual compliance.
- Maintain procurement records, respond to data calls, and ensure accurate metrics and workflow management.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 3 years of procurement experience within a Federal Government contracting environment, especially with Cloud, Hardware, and Software suppliers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and familiarity with FAR/DFAR and Public Law requirements.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi‑task effectively.
