Head Start Grants Management Specialist- REMOTE

• Review and process grant applications to ensure funding is provided 30 days prior to the grantee’s refunding date
• Prepare and track grants throughout the review and funding process, including necessary documentation and communication with grantees
• Monitor the accuracy and timeliness of grant applications and financial reporting documents
• Correspond regularly with grantee staff to resolve issues and evaluate fiscal performance
• Prepare grant closeouts, ensuring all reports and audits are complete and accurate

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college, preferably in Accounting, Business Management, or a related field
• 2+ years of progressive professional experience in grants management or financial management
• 2+ years’ experience related to federal discretionary grants management and regulatory compliance
• 1+ years' experience in data aggregation, analysis, and reporting
• 1+ years’ experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point

• Experience with Grant Solutions
• Background and training in accounting and/or financial management, including audit resolution activities
