Position: Workforce Benefits Sales Consultant - Broker Distribution (Maryland)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Develop and execute strategies for Broker Distribution to achieve sales, retention, and profitability objectives
  • Meet annual sales goals as established by the Regional Sales Manager (RSM)
  • Build and strengthen relationships with brokers and General Agents (GAs) to drive sales
  • Conduct a specified number of broker meetings each week and manage a pipeline of Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
  • Collaborate with various internal teams to ensure alignment on deliverables related to broker relationships
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in group benefits sales with a strong presence in the broker marketplace
  • College degree in business management, finance, risk management, or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to analyze data from multiple sources to inform decisions
  • Strong integrity, transparency, and commitment to organizational best practices
  • Self-aware leadership style with a focus on continuous improvement
