What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)- Partner with senior business leaders to support strategic decision‑making and ongoing business development in the Commercial Lines division.
- Assess key assumptions, risks, and opportunities, translating financial impacts into actionable insights and complex financial models.
- Lead the quarterly forecasting and planning process for the Commercial Lines division, developing comprehensive financial plans and operational expense budgets.
- Communicate data‑driven insights into forecasts and plans to inform performance management and strategic priorities.
- Support FP&A transformation initiatives by enhancing insights, improving efficiency, and strengthening tools and processes across the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in a related area (Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, etc.) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 8+ years of related professional experience, including 5+ years supporting FP&A / Treasury functions.
- Strong understanding of Income Statement and Balance Sheet components and their interrelationship.
- Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills to build trust and credibility with business leaders.
- Experience with data extraction and uploading in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) systems.
- Postgraduate coursework is a plus.
- Experience with capital management in the insurance industry preferred.
- Familiarity with Oracle systems preferred, but not required.
- Strong understanding of insurance industry trends and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent business writing skills.
