ROLE SUMMARY FOR YOU

The NASA CONNECT Business Manager provides business leadership for NASA Connect and supports the development of the international connectivity business. This role is responsible for driving growth, managing international CONNECT solutions (including 3D ‑ P), and ensuring scalable, high ‑ margin delivery across global markets. This is a North & South America‑based role with flexibility for remote work. The successful candidate must be available to travel as required to support business objectives.

WHAT

YOU WILL DO Safety
  • Understand and implement Epiroc Occupational Health & Safety policies
  • Lead safety excellence with a goal of zero harm
Business Strategy
  • Drive controlled growth with a focus on margin optimization
  • Lead selective, high ‑ value projects with predictable outcomes
  • Productize solutions to improve scalability and repeatability
  • Position connectivity as a growth catalyst across the business
  • Collaborate closely with local sales teams to strengthen customer value
  • Strengthen Epiroc’s position as a total solutions provider and trusted partner
Business Development
  • Drive CONNECT sales in collaboration with Customer Centres (CCs)
  • Champion international connectivity projects supporting bundled equipment sales
  • Ensure fulfillment of approved business cases
  • Support market outlook development and sales target setting
  • Participate in monthly CONNECT opportunity reviews
  • Ensure accurate and up ‑ to ‑ date Salesforce opportunity records
  • Provide expert sales support and guidance to CCs
  • Develop and deliver sales training programs
  • Support customer meetings and solution development
  • Assist in resolving customer issues as they arise
Business Line Leadership
  • Act as the CONNECT business line champion and ambassador
  • Represent CONNECT in customer meetings, Epiroc events, and industry forums
  • Promote cross ‑ divisional bundled solutions
  • Collaborate proactively across regions, divisions, and business lines
Product Management
  • Develop and maintain CONNECT product roadmaps and supporting business cases
  • Identify and advance R&D initiatives for new and enhanced solutions
  • Oversee design, manufacturing, and supply processes
  • Implement standardized design and product management practices
  • Productize network solutions and reduce bespoke delivery
  • Manage IP protection and certification requirements
  • Develop sales, technical, and training materials in collaboration with Sales & Marketing
  • Gather customer feedback to inform product development
  • Manage supplier relationships, forecasts, pricing, training, and certifications
  • Resolve warranty claims and commercial disputes
Solution Delivery
  • Own solution delivery to meet customer and Epiroc business case (P&L) expectations
  • Support lifecycle management including aftermarket services and technical support
  • Drive continuous improvement through customer and end ‑ user feedback
