The Sales Assistant provides coordinated administrative and customer account support for multiple retailers on behalf of the Account Executive. This role ensures accuracy and timeliness across development cycle tasks, including SKU setup, and helps maintain smooth communication between customers and internal departments. The Sales Assistant manages routine customer requests, ensures information flows correctly throughout the organization, and contributes to delivering high‑quality service that meets and exceeds customer expectations.
A successful individual in this role demonstrates strong attention to detail, the ability to shift priorities quickly, and a consistent commitment to organized, dependable follow‑through.
- Manage development cycle tasks and seasonal and annual SKU setup to ensure on‑time readiness for product launches.
- Provide support by coordinating and documenting customer requests, ensuring information is accurate, routed to the appropriate internal teams, tracked through completion, and communicated back as needed to maintain smooth day‑to‑day account operations.
- Coordinate photo sample requests for customers.
- Maintain accurate account data and trackers using Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and lookup functions; prepare simple comparisons and summaries as needed.
- Support resolution of routine customer inquiries and issues independently and elevate appropriately based on defined thresholds.
- Drive organized handoffs and follow‑through with internal teams to meet customer expectations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying simple process gaps and proposing practical fixes within the team’s workflows.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to use formulas, pivot tables, and lookup functions to organize and analyze data accurately.
- Understands basic business concepts, applying daily tasks, making appropriate decisions in routine situations.
- Communicates in a clear, concise, and professional manner in both written and verbal interactions.
- Effectively manages multiple priorities in a structured environment and maintains accurate, well‑organized documentation.

This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets.
Currently hybrid model with time split between office and home. This is subject to change and does require the ability to work from home.
Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is a largely sedentary role; however, some kneeling, bending and standing is required as necessary.
Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThe standard workweek is forty (40) hours. Workday lengths for exempt associates are determined primarily by the hours required to accomplish their current workloads. General business hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily. As starting and ending times vary within departments and office locations, the manager of each department will determine the schedule for his or her department.
