FLEXIBLE SPENDING COORDINATOR (FULL-TIME / REMOTE / HYBRID)
This is a full‑time position with a hybrid remote work arrangement in our Sheboygan, WI location. No weekends, holidays or on‑call rotations. Ideal candidate will work in Wisconsin.

Job SummaryThe Flexible Spending Coordinator is responsible for maintaining and administering flexible spending account (FSA) programs, including healthcare and dependent care FSAs for our clients and members. This role serves as the primary contact for employees regarding FSA inquiries and works closely with HR and payroll teams to ensure compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in FSA program administration.
Summary Of Essential Job Functions- Setup, maintain, and manage flexible spending data for new and existing groups and members in all systems, including WEX.
- Process and manage FSA enrollments, changes, and terminations.
- Oversee claims processing, ensuring timely reimbursement for members.
- Monitor contribution limits, account balances, year‑end carryovers, and grace periods.
- Ensure compliance with IRS and policies.
- Serve as the primary contact for client and member inquiries on FSA accounts.
- Answer members’ and HR department questions, concerns, and issues regarding eligibility; meet with members and HR representatives as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of employee contributions and reimbursements.
- Prepare and distribute periodic reports on FSA usage and trends.
- Coordinate with payroll for accurate pre‑tax deductions and account updates.
- Stay updated on any changes to FSA laws and IRS guidelines.
- Conduct audits to verify eligibility, accuracy, and compliance in program administration.
- Collaborate with HR, payroll, and benefits teams to enhance FSA offerings and streamline processes.
- Perform daily duties and process claims with minimal direction and ask questions appropriately.
- Education:
High school diploma or GED, one‑year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Experience:
Two‑plus years of experience preferred in benefits administration, payroll, or HR, with a focus on flexible spending or health benefits as a plus. - Language
Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, and memos; ability to write detailed correspondence; ability to present information effectively in one‑on‑one and small‑group situations to customers, clients, and other employees. - Mathematical
Skills:
Basic math skills and the ability to use a calculator. - Computer
Skills:
Advanced computer skills in a Windows environment utilizing Microsoft Word and Excel.

This is a sedentary position which requires the individual to sit for long periods of time and maintain proper positioning/posturing for extensive viewing of computer screens and computer‑related work. It is encouraged that individuals intermix this sedentary time with periodic movement within one’s office space and/or to other office areas to counteract the sedentary nature of this position.
