Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support global operations across Commercial, Finance, Accounting, R&D, Product, and Professional Services functions.
In this role, you will partner closely with Finance and business leaders to drive performance through KPI management, forecasting, business planning, and data-driven insights. You will also leverage AI-enabled analytics, automation, and advanced tools to enhance efficiency and scale insights across the organization.

Performance & ReportingDevelop, manage, and enhance KPIs, dashboards, and performance reports using Power BI and enterprise data systems.
Prepare executive-ready analytics for Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews (MBRs and QBRs).
Partner with Finance to support forecasting, financial target setting, and planning cycles.
Analyze forecast variances, performance drivers, and trends to provide actionable recommendations.
Support Accounting with global deal processing, revenue recognition, and data flow across commercial and finance systems.
Analyze large, complex datasets from ERP and CRM systems.
Identify risks, opportunities, and areas for optimization.
Leverage AI, automation, and advanced analytics to improve reporting efficiency and forecasting accuracy.
Translate complex data into clear insights for senior stakeholders.
Collaborate with global, cross-functional teams to support strategic and operational initiatives.
5+ years of experience in business analysis, analytics, FP&A, or related roles.
Strong experience working with enterprise data models and ERP systems.
Hands‑on experience with platforms such as Salesforce, SAP, Power BI, Navision, or similar tools.
Proven ability to analyze large datasets and present executive-level insights.
Experience partnering with Finance and Accounting in a global, matrixed environment.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical skills using Power BI and enterprise systems.
Experience with AI-enabled tools for analytics and automation.
Understanding of financial concepts including bookings, backlog, and revenue recognition.
Knowledge of commercial, services, and financial performance drivers.
Ability to identify inefficiencies and recommend scalable, data-driven improvements.
Ability to present complex data clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Comfortable working with global teams across multiple time zones.
