Remote Disability Claims Specialist

At ***, we seek to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our customers and our communities. The Remote Disability Claims Specialist will evaluate disability claims, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions.

• 3+ years of experience in disability claims processing or a related field
• Proven ability to exercise independent judgment and decision-making
• Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills
• Creative problem-solving abilities and the ability to think outside the box
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field

• Effectively manage assigned projects and initiatives with some level of oversight
• Provide timely, balanced, and accurate analysis and recommendations in a fast-paced environment
• Communicate proactively with stakeholders, demonstrating empathy and active listening
• Interact and communicate effectively with team members, clients, and vendors
• Compile and analyze data to determine if additional information is needed for decision-making
• Collaborate with internal and external resources to ensure thorough analysis
• Clarify and reconcile inconsistencies in data and information
• Provide timely and detailed written communication during project evaluations
• Address and resolve escalated issues in a timely and thorough manner
