We are looking for a Sales Manager Polymers
.
Manages & assists in improving the sales performance of the designated products to ensure overall sales efficiency and profit maximization by assuming responsibility for the full chain (from inventory to cash collection), while maintaining positive work relationships with customers/clients by creating a rapport that facilitates patronage and generates revenue.
Job Specific Accountabilities:Sales and Marketing
- Contribute to the development of annual sales plans and supports long term strategic planning
- Develop commercial solutions to meet customer needs& expectations
- Strong activities onprospectingand acquisition of new accounts in targeted markets & segments
- Manage the full value chain for polymers business (Order to Cash)
- Analyze inventory position in order to maintain safety stock
- Monitor market intelligence, industry developments, and price trends
- Track sales performance against KPIs and collaborate closely with the Global Commercial Directors (GCD) to implement global strategies at the regional level.
- Communicate regional market shifts to proactively reinforce global direction and leverages market insights to optimize sales strategies.
- Translate your business and sales strategy into PowerPoint presentations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients across Europe, ensuring a consistent transaction pipeline and maximizing netback
- Engage in customer visits and analyze customer needs
- Ability to listen andunderstandcustomerexpectations
- Assist customers in identifying required products and grades and coordinate technical support
- Carry out due diligence for new business partners
- Submit/processes customer credit application and support in credit reviews
- Represent the company at trade-show exhibitions
- Manage customer complaints and monitor resolutions and action items
- Coordinate customers’ request related to carbon footprint and sustainability
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Accounting, Economics, Business Management or in a relevant field
Proficiency in English Language
Experience:Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role within a large industrial organization with a portfolio of international corporate clients
Qualifications:- Candidate with good market knowledge of polyolefin
- Open to travel 50%
- Strong sales skills withstrongdrive to grow business &generate value
- Result oriented, independent and doer Attitude a must
- Able to present information ina simple way, clearly communicating the key messages and engaging the audience
- Simplify complex issues where possible and always look for solutions
- French, German or Italian preferred
Location: Job based in Switzerland. remote position not possible
