Business Development Manager Insurance Remote

Job Description

Forbes Advisor is seeking a Business Development Manager who thrives in a collaborative, goal-oriented environment. Reporting to the GM of Insurance, this individual will support a range of Insurance categories, from Business Insurance to Travel Insurance, and assist broader commercial teams in identifying, executing, and optimizing growth opportunities. This individual will be a key stakeholder in managing relationships with Insurance partners, communicating and negotiating commercial strategies and be a lead in growing these categories.

They will also be gateway between wider internal teams of the business, from marketing, to product and the partners we work with.

• Support the Senior Director of Business Development in achieving revenue and growth targets.
• Prospect and outreach for new potential partners to drive new partnerships.
• Help with growing established partnerships through the negotiation of current commercial agreements, finding new opportunities to work together and cross-selling new initiatives the business brings to market.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all onboarding, legal, and setup requirements.
• Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to develop tailored media plans and proposals.
• Manage the collection of creative assets, tracking, and ad verification from clients and agency contacts.
• Oversee order creation and management.
• Process insertion orders and ensure compliance with requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams to project manage all elements required for campaign execution.
• Partner with internal teams on billing reconciliation.
• Assist the sales team in upselling and renewing business.

• 7+ years Affiliate Marketing or Business Development experience in Insurance verticals preferred
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage stress well, and juggle multiple account challenges ent in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
