Job title: Business Development Executive (M&A)
Salary: SGD 4,000 - 5,000

Our client, a leading M&A advisory firm, is seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Business Development Executive professional to join their M&A team. This role focuses on identifying and developing relationships with potential buyer-side companies and supporting sell-side mandates from buyer identification through to deal closing.
Responsibilities- Understanding Sell-Side requirements:
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of assigned sell-side mandates, including business model, financials, industry positioning, organizational structure, and strategic objectives.
- Liaise with sell-side representatives to clarify transaction expectations and buyer requirements.
- Analyze suitability criteria and define ideal buyer profiles.
- Buyer Targeting & Development (Main job scope):
- Conduct research and independently build a pipeline and lists of potential buyer companies.
- Identify strategic fit, synergy potential, and acquisition rationale.
- Conduct cold calls and try to develop prospective buyers.
- Maintain and expand a professional network across industries and markets.
- Relationship Management & Deal Support:
- Facilitate introductions and coordinate meetings between sell-side and potential buyers.
- Attend joint meetings during buyer visits to sell-side companies.
- Support buyer engagement throughout the transaction lifecycle (average deal cycle: approximately 12 months).
- Variable Bonus (Depends on Company and Individual performance)

- Medical Allowance of SGD 1,500 per year (inclusive of GP and dental treatment)
- Hybrid work arrangement: 1 work-from-home day per week (Tuesday–Thursday)
- Diploma / Polytechnic qualification or higher
- Minimum 1-2 years of B2B new business development experience
- Proven track record in client acquisition and outreach
- Ability to communicate in Chinese to liaise with Chinese-speaking clients
- Skilled at using tools like Linked In Sales Navigator, Pitch Book, or Google to hunt down hidden companies and find the right decision-makers.
- Experience in consulting, M&A, financial services, or investment-related industries
- Experience engaging corporate clients or C-level stakeholders
- Knowledge of PL/BS, Management Account
