Join a global leader in complex mechanical equipment as we grow and innovate in exciting new directions. Due to continued expansion, we're seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new business growth while managing key accounts across the UK, with future scope to expand into Europe.
About the RoleReporting to the Product Manager, you'll own the full sales cycle — from prospecting through to delivery and cash collection — with a strong emphasis on new business (approx. 75%).
Key Responsibilities- Winning new business and delivering sales growth
- Managing and developing key customer relationships
- Promoting technical solutions in silicone, rubber, and polymer materials
- Implementing pricing strategy and supporting sales planning
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction
- Providing market insights and identifying growth opportunities
- 5+ years' experience in BDM or technical sales
- Strong industry knowledge (silicone, rubber, polymers or similar)
- Proven track record of new business success
- Technical or engineering background advantageous
- Commercially driven, self-motivated, and relationship-focused
- £60,000 base salary
- Company car (BMW or Audi)
- Bonus up to 20% (personal + company performance)
- Home-based role with UK travel
- Long-term career growth as the business expands
Frequent UK customer visits
Occasional European travel
