The Senior Solution Consultant plays a key role within the Audit Sales Organization by delivering in-depth expertise in the profession, solutions, and product functionality to support the sales process. This position is primarily focused on product and technical knowledge rather than direct sales responsibilities. The role involves conducting tailored product demonstrations, providing technical sales support, and articulating complex solution capabilities to prospective clients.
In addition, the Senior Solution Consultant serves as a subject matter expert within their segment, offering mentorship, training, and guidance to sales and consulting teams to enhance solution delivery and client engagement.
- Provide specialized consulting to solve business challenges faced by customers using Thomson Reuters software and content solutions in order to gain new business, win market share and increase customer satisfaction
- Be responsible for engaging/assisting customers in the pre‑sales process, including helping to identify the right offerings that solve the customer’s pain points and increase customer retention.
- Advise and consult with customers and sales teams to determine product needs
- Act as a technical expert in client meetings and prospect demonstrations.
- Communicate product roadmap, features, and upcoming releases in the demo story
- Be an evangelist for the product, via wider client engagement, through webinars, conferences, public speaking engagements etc.
- Scope and design solutions that are current to show what is possible with the platform, host sandbox workshops, and proof of concepts.
- Customer‑facing experience required
- Pre‑sales experience
- 5+ years of experience in a relevant role
- Problem solving, communication, time management, and creative thinking skills
- Although the default delivery is virtual, travel is expected up to 25%
