Data Scientist, Data Analyst

You will work with the Psychometrics and Research team, the Content Development team and the Production team on scoring, monitoring, validation research, program improvement and technical reporting for the Uniform CPA Exam. You will report to the Director of Psychometrics and Research as an individual contributor.
You Will:
- Lead operational procedures related to item calibration, scoring, and scaling/equating.
- Perform multiple psychometric analyses, including differential item functioning, dimensionality, item drift, reliability estimation, speededness, and forensic analyses.
- Design and implement research studies in response to planned and ad hoc needs.
- Write AICPA technical research reports; contribute to the development and updating of the research agenda.
- Communicate psychometric concepts to professionals from diverse industries verbally and in writing, including presenting and discussing issues with examination committees, task forces, and at conferences.
- Help implement practice analyses, test design, and standard setting procedures.
- Help produce procedural and quality assurance documentation for external and company partners; create Work Instructions.
You Have:
- Ph.D. in Psychometrics, I/O Psychology, Quantitative Psychology, Educational Measurement or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in psychometric analysis within high-stakes testing, certification, or licensure assessment environments
- Experience with psychometric operations
- Experience with statistical/psychometric programming
- Prior experience presenting complex psychometric and statistical results to technical committees and other audiences

The Annual Salary range for this role is $120,000 - $135,000. There is no non-wage compensation.
