Job Summary
Leviat, a CRH company, is seeking a results-oriented and strategic Business Development Manager to raise awareness and drive adoption of our engineered products within the precast/prestress community in North America. The role requires a technical background, industry knowledge, strong presentation skills, ability to build relationships, teamwork, focus on sales growth and a customer-oriented approach.
Job LocationThis role is remote based and candidates must be located in Texas.
Job Responsibilities- Meet with industry engineers and specifiers, in person or virtually, to inform on the advantages of Leviat products and drive specifications
- Attend PCI & NPCA National and Regional Association meetings/events to advocate for Leviat’s products and participate in relevant committees
- Collaborate with the Precast/Prestress sales team to develop and implement strategies for growing key customer accounts
- Work with sales and operations teams to forecast demand using opportunity pipeline management and CRM tracking
- Act as an intermediary between external engineers/architects and Leviat engineering for project design requirements
- Coordinate with marketing, product management and technical services to create and maintain presentations and other materials for stakeholders such as Precast/Prestress Engineering Community, Operations and Plant audiences
- Assist product management with initiatives such as collecting customer input for new product development, conducting voice of customer surveys and reporting market intelligence on industry trends and competitor activity
- 5+ years of experience in the Precast/Prestress Industry
- BS in Structural, Civil, or relevant engineering field (P.E. preferred but not required)
- Experience with CRM and lead generation tools (e.g., Salesforce, CMD, Speclink)
- Strong communication skills; able to tailor messages for different audiences
- History of developing and maintaining stakeholder relationships
- Ability to devise sales approaches and solutions; cold calling, negotiation and presentation experience
- Highly organized, self-motivated problem-solver with a growth mindset
- Willingness to travel across USA & Canada up to 50%
