Your Impact at The Gunter Group
As a Managing Consultant at The Gunter Group, you operate as a senior consulting leader responsible for delivering results across large, complex client engagements while owning key client relationships.
You partner closely with client leaders and TGG leadership to shape opportunities, guide delivery, and expand TGG’s presence in the Denver market. You deliver outcomes by leading teams, managing client accounts, and building long-term partnerships that drive sustained value for both clients and the firm.
Lead High-Impact Client Delivery
- Deliver complex consulting services across large, multi-workstream engagements or multiple concurrent projects.
- Lead client engagements as a billable consultant, ensuring high-quality delivery and client satisfaction.
- Direct and support delivery teams, bringing structure and clarity to complex and ambiguous client environments.
Own Client Accounts & Executive Relationships
- Serve as the account lead and trusted partner for key client stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with client leaders across diverse industries.
- Ensure strong governance, ongoing alignment, and accountability across owned client accounts.
- Partner with clients to understand evolving needs and identify opportunities for continued engagement.
Grow TGG’s Denver Market Presence
- Build and nurture a pipeline of consulting opportunities by leveraging a strong professional network within the Denver business community.
- Lead early conversations with prospective clients to understand needs and shape scopes of work aligned to TGG’s services.
- Collaborate with TGG leadership to identify, evaluate, and pursue new client and industry opportunities in the Denver market.
- Contribute to business development efforts through relationship-building, insight, and strong performance.
- Manage, coach, and develop TGG consultants, strengthening delivery excellence and supporting long-term professional growth.
- Provide leadership and mentorship that enables teams to thrive in complex, ambiguous environments.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture focused on quality outcomes and continuous improvement.
What You Bring
- 8+ years of experience, including 5+ years in a consulting environment, leading client engagements and delivery teams.
- A strong professional network within the Denver business community and experience building local client relationships.
- Demonstrated success in business development, including selling professional services and managing client accounts.
- Proven ability to deliver tangible results in complex business environments across diverse industries.
- Experience leading client accounts and building long-term, trust-based partnerships.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills with the executive presence to engage senior stakeholders.
- Experience leading cross-functional consulting teams across execution, technology, people, and strategy service areas is a plus.
- Background in program/project management, business analysis, change management, process improvement, or Agile methodologies preferred.
- Experience working across business and IT stakeholders and supporting enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, POS) is a plus.
- Professional certifications (PMP, CSM, SAFe, Lean Six Sigma, CBAP, Prosci ADKAR) are preferred, not required.

The total expected compensation range for this role is $170,000 to $220,000, consisting of a base salary with uncapped bonus opportunities through contributions to account leadership and business development. We discuss compensation and bonus opportunities openly throughout the hiring process.
