Business Analyst Accelerated Consulting Programme

Overview

Align with our London base for a 15‑24 month Business Intelligence Centre (BIC) programme, then transition into consulting in our Paris office. The BIC team drives business development by generating lead opportunities, managing pipelines, conducting company and industry research, business analysis and proposal support. The programme provides hands‑on learning, industry rotations and formal training in core consulting skills, and serves as a springboard to a consulting career at Alix Partners.

• Support the firm’s business development initiatives by identifying and developing potential opportunities.
• Assist client‑facing teams with industry research and company analysis.
• Progress from support roles to full membership on regional engagement teams tackling clients’ most critical issues.
• Collaborate across Alix Partners’ industries and communities to build intellectual capital.
• Participate in the formal and on‑the‑job training that enhances consulting skill sets, including digital languages.

• Master’s degree required.
• Clear and concise communication skills; able to interact with team members at varying levels.
• Effective analytical and problem‑solving skills with a basic understanding of accounting and financial concepts.
• Proactive, entrepreneurial, self‑motivated and curious about various industries and consulting engagements.
• Team player and dependable.
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail; able to prioritize and meet deadlines while handling multiple concurrent projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and French; additional language skills are a bonus.
• Willingness to work outside normal business hours when unique projects or needs arise.

Travel is part of this position; frequency varies by client, team and individual circumstances. The role supports a hybrid work model combining in‑person and remote work.
