Summary

As a(n) Advisor Data Analyst at Gainwell, you can contribute your skills as we harness the power of technology to help our clients improve the health and well-being of the members they serve – a community’s most vulnerable. Your role in our mission
  • Analyze complex operational workflows and identify inefficiencies across healthcare data processes (primarily eligibility and claims data)
  • Lead root cause analysis and redesign initiatives using data-driven methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, systems engineering concepts)
  • Quantify financial impact of operational changes and track ROI
  • Identify opportunities to deploy AI/ML-driven workflow automation
  • Partner with IT and data science teams to operationalize AI/ML use cases
  • Build business cases for AI-enabled tools and process redesign
  • Support implementation and post-deployment performance monitoring
  • Act as a strategic thought partner to senior operations leadership
  • Collaborate with IT, product, and client teams to define requirements and drive delivery
  • Communicate technical findings in clear, executive-ready formats
What we’re looking for
  • 6-10+ years of experience in healthcare data analytics, payer operations, revenue cycle, or related healthcare domain, in particular working with large healthcare datasets (claims, eligibility, provider data, risk scoring models, etc)
  • Advanced SQL proficiency (ability to build complex queries, joins, performance tuning), experience with AI/ML-enabled workflow tools, python scripting experience
  • Demonstrated experience translating analytics into operational change and positive financial impact
  • Strong understanding of QA controls and data validation methodologies
  • Proven ability to independently own ambiguous problems from concept through execution while partnering directly with senior operational leaders

  • Fully Remote Opportunity – Work from anywhere in the U.S.
  • Minimal Travel Required – Occasional travel opportunities (0-10%).

The pay range for this position is $86,800.00 – $ per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
