What Can You Expect?
We are currently looking for a detail‑driven and proactive Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team. This is a hands‑on role supporting core financial processes, with a strong focus on invoice accuracy, supplier liaison, and maintaining high‑quality financial records.
You’ll gain practical experience across purchase ledger, invoice processing, and financial administration while completing a fully funded apprenticeship. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, solving problems, and supporting smooth financial operations.
This is a permanent, part‑time position (15 – 22.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday). The role is hybrid, requiring travel to our Lincoln Headquarters and offering flexibility through remote working.
A Typical Day Could See You:- Verifying third‑party, agency, and supplier invoices for accuracy
- Maintaining purchase ledger records and reconciling supplier statements
- Liaising with suppliers to resolve discrepancies and queries
- Supporting payment runs and ensuring documentation is complete
- Maintaining financial records across Excel, Cleric, and internal systems
- Assisting with month‑end tasks and general finance administration
- Competitive salary - £26,000 per annum (pro‑rata)

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work professionally with suppliers and internal teams
- Comfortable using Excel and digital finance systems
- Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload
- Proactive, willing to learn, and adaptable
- Finance or accounts experience (preferred)
- Familiarity with Cleric or similar systems (preferred)
