Role Details:Location: Milab Diagnostics, Harleston, Norfolk, IP20 9EB
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Working 08.00 - 16.30, Monday - Friday
About the Role:- Order Management:
Prepare and complete daily orders for delivery, including picking, scanning, packing, and shipping items to ensure timely dispatch - Delivery Processing:
Receive and process deliveries from suppliers by unloading, safely storing, and rotating stock - Inventory Control:
Conduct monthly stock takes, ensuring accurate cross-referencing with computer records - Stock Management:
Monitor stock levels to ensure a first-in, first-out rotation system, and promptly inform the General Manager of any stock shortages or expired items - Workplace Safety and Cleanliness:
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, optimising space utilisation and ensuring compliance with safety standards - Equipment Operation:
Safely operate warehouse equipment such as scissor lifts and manual pallet trucks to aid efficiency - Fridge Monitoring:
Log and monitor fridge temperatures to ensure proper storage conditions are maintained for sensitive materials - Safety Compliance:
Ensure all personnel entering the warehouse adhere to safe working practices to maintain a secure environment - Prioritisation of Urgent Orders:
Prioritise and manage 'rush orders' to meet urgent client needs - Facility Maintenance:
Conduct regular housekeeping to uphold the cleanliness of the building - Documentation and Records:
Assemble and maintain general paperwork and MiLab documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness
These responsibilities contribute to the smooth operation of our laboratory services and support our commitment to delivering exceptional diagnostic pathology solutions.
