Job Description & How to Apply Below

Envisage Dental are a fast-growing dental group founded in 2014 by husband-and-wife team Harry Gill and Dr Sandy Dau. We are a rapidly scaling business within the exciting and expanding private dental sector, a constantly evolving consumer healthcare space.

We are a privately owned group with a clear focus on the premium provision of high-quality private dental services through our practices across England. We are proud to be the first national dental group to achieve B Corp certification, reflecting our commitment to doing business in a responsible, transparent and values-led way.

As our acquisition programme continues to grow, we are now looking for an Associate Pay Specialist (M&A) to support a key integration project over the next 12 months. While this role is offered as a fixed-term contract, there is strong potential for it to become permanent as the business continues to expand.

About

The Role

This is a critical role within our M&A integration process. You will ensure that 100% of associates joining Envisage through acquisition are fully transitioned onto Envisage contract templates and our associate pay model before each acquisition completes.

You will act as the main point of contact for associate contract and pay matters during the pre‑completion and early integration phase, working closely with Commercial, Finance, People and practice leadership teams.

Your working location will be 2 days per week based in our Basingstoke office, with the remainder home‑based. Equipment for home working will be provided. Occasional travel to practices may be required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the review and transition of associate pay structures, fee splits and commercial terms for new clinic acquisitions prior to completion
  • Ensure all associates are transitioned onto Envisage’s standardised associate pay model ahead of deal completion
  • Prepare and issue new associate contracts following the completion of clinic acquisitions
  • Act as the main point of contact for associate pay and contract queries during the pre‑completion and integration phase
  • Ensure payment dates, payslip formats and contractual terms are aligned and clearly communicated
  • Work closely with People, Finance and clinic leadership teams to explain changes clearly and practically, supporting sensitive conversations where contract or pay changes are required
  • Over time, help develop simple, scalable processes for managing associate contract and pay changes to support a high volume of acquisitions
About You

We are looking for someone who combines strong commercial understanding with confidence in handling sensitive conversations.

Skills & Experience
  • Comprehensive understanding of associate pay and remuneration models within day‑to‑day dental practice environments
  • Hands‑on experience using dental systems such as SOE, with confidence navigating data, reports and associate pay information
  • Experience negotiating or supporting changes to associate remuneration and contractual arrangements
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex or sensitive information clearly and professionally
Personal Attributes
  • Confident and pragmatic when handling challenging or sensitive conversations
  • Naturally diplomatic, able to balance commercial objectives with fair and sustainable outcomes
  • Calm, resilient and solutions‑focused when managing differing viewpoints or conflict
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast‑moving, acquisition‑led environment
What Envisage Can Offer You
  • A hybrid working model
  • A competitive salary
  • Fantastic company culture and values, with a great deal of support
  • Contributory pension and holiday purchase scheme
  • Dental benefit scheme
