We are looking for a Indirect Tax Segment Lead for our Asia Emerging Markets.
Working as part of Thomson Reuters’ Corporates business, you will be part of the Product Content team developing and maintaining global tax compliance modules on our ONESOURCE tax platform.
About the roleAs a Indirect Tax Segment Lead
, you will be responsible for:
Ownership of strategy, design, business requirements, feature and functionality tradeoffs and release schedule for Indirect Tax a set of propositions, products or services.
Partner with sales / marketing to develop marketing strategy and product launch activities
Direct and influence cross-functional teams in order to ensure dependencies for proposition, product or service delivery are met
Responsible for gathering and prioritizing client feedback and understanding client needs in order to drive innovation and increase client adoption and retention
Responsible for developing comprehensive product definitions, concept proposals and business cases which result in marketable products and services.
Involved in budgeting activities, development of 3rd party partnerships, etc.
Responsible for reviewing current products to ensure that quality and currency are being maintained
In this role of Indirect Tax Segment Lead
, you will have:
Professional Tax or Accountancy qualification
Practical experience in tax compliance and / or advisory, ideally across more than one country
Experience in VAT implementations and using ONESOURCE Indirect compliance is preferable and a strong advantage.
Strong tax technology skills. A good understanding of Indirect tax legislation as well as practical insights / experience in the use of technology in this area
Organized and methodical approach to work, especially attention to detail
