Job Description
The Product Manager – Financial Transaction Management (FTM) will work on customer-facing digital products, helping to drive product strategy, improve customer experience, and expand product capabilities. This role requires close collaboration with software engineering, marketing, and growth teams in a fully remote environment. The Product Manager will support all phases of the Agile software development lifecycle, from discovery and user research through deployment, instrumentation, and maintenance, while demonstrating strong ownership, independence, and a bias toward action.
Responsibilities- 2+ years of experience working on customer-facing digital products, driving product strategy, improving customer experience, and expanding product capabilities while working closely with software engineering, marketing, and growth teams
- 1+ years of experience conducting all phases of product planning, including building roadmaps, establishing release plans, planning individual sprints, decomposing user stories into actionable development tickets, and performing functional testing
- Proven experience gathering and transforming customer and business needs into actionable product artifacts, such as personas, wireframes, process flows, user stories, information flows, and code-less prototypes
- 1+ years of experience working in a production-level Agile software development lifecycle, from discovery and user research through architecting, testing, deployment, instrumentation, and maintenance
- Ability to communicate and collaborate consistently and proactively with different audiences in a remote work environment
- Demonstrated strong sense of ownership, independence, bias toward action, and inclination for collaboration
- Experience working with and managing product and project management tools such as Aha.io, Jira, Confluence, and Figma
- Bachelor’s degree in a related business or technical field of study. Five (5) years of experience may be substituted for a degree. A certification in a related business field may be substituted for one (1) year of experience
- Experience with eCommerce financial transaction processes, including payment gateways and credit card processes
- Knowledge of outcome-based solutioning and value-driven Product Management frameworks and best practices
- Experience using user and customer research tools such as Google Analytics, Qualtrics, Medallia, and Hotjar to generate data-driven customer experience insights
- Knowledge of design-thinking concepts, design sprints, and customer experience frameworks
- Strong willingness and motivation to seek different perspectives, feedback, and relevant information to continuously grow and improve
- Curiosity about a broad range of new or unfamiliar technologies, including GenAI and AI/ML
- Passion for the consumer base and product vision
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience presenting to executive leadership and handling sensitive customer escalations
