Management Fast Track - Financial Services. Are you ready to launch your leadership career in financial services? New York Life is looking for ambitious, motivated professionals to join our Leadership Development Program. From day one, you’ll receive hands‑on training in sales, business development, recruiting, and team management — all designed to prepare you for a fast‑track management role.
Responsibilities- Start as a Financial Professional: build client relationships, deliver financial solutions, and generate leads. You'll receive training allowance, commissions and bonuses.
- Use CRM tools (Salesforce or similar) to manage clients and pipeline.
- Achieve licensing and production milestones in your first 12 months.
- Transition into the Associate Partner Training Program to recruit, train, and manage your own team.
- Help clients navigate key financial needs including retirement planning, investments and protection strategies.
- Complete paid training and required licensing, including insurance and FINRA registrations.
- Progress into a six‑month management training program after your first year.
- Recruit, mentor and lead a team of financial professionals, supporting their growth and long‑term success.
- Experience in sales, entrepreneurship, or team leadership.
- Coachable, self‑motivated, and performance‑driven.
- Interested in a long‑term leadership career in financial services.
- Prior sales, business ownership, or management experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree or advanced degree a plus, but not required.
- Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills.
- Commitment to professional and personal growth.
- Ability to pass state insurance licensing and FINRA registrations (training and support provided).
- Must reside in Northern California.
- Fast‑track to management in 6‑12 months.
- In management, you'll receive base compensation, plus bonuses and commissions.

- Year 1 – Financial Professional:
Primarily commission‑based compensation with training allowances available. - Associate Partner (Management):
Base salary typically ranging from $75,000–$150,000, plus bonuses and additional compensation tied to team production, recruiting and development success. - Field Manager income potential increases significantly based on performance, with bonuses, incentives and recognition programs.
- Overall compensation includes base salary, bonuses, commissions, with potential annual package exceeding $180,000+ with plan commission.
This role offers upside income potential and long‑term career mobility. While based in Northern California, high‑performing leaders may pursue opportunities in other states, regional leadership roles, or positions within zone or home office leadership.
