Reuters is seeking a highly-skilled Senior Product Manager to join our dynamic team ahead of the 2026 elections. As the U.S. election product manager, you will play a crucial role in the understanding, processing and ingestion of election results from across the U.S.

As a Senior Product Manager
, US Elections
, you will:
- Research voting processes in individual counties and all 50 states and turn those into actionable requirements for processing the Vote Count. Must learn and understand the differences in how each state and county report votes on election night.
- Turn requirements into actionable application development and be familiar with requirement-gathering tools, JIRA or similar. Assist our engineers in understanding the details around the electoral process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement automated solutions for the ingestion of vote count.
- Work closely with editorial to build best-in-class graphics for vote count display.
- Design and/or provide input into testing and simulation procedures.
- Track project milestones against hard deadlines.
- Potential to manage 1-4 direct reports
To be our Senior Product Manager, US Elections
, you are likely to have:
- 7+ years of product management experience.
- Hybrid role based in New York or Washington D.C. Fully remote will be considered for the right candidate with monthly or quarterly travel.
- Minimum B.S. or B.A. in related fields
