Position: Grants Financial Analyst II (Remote) - Department of Medicine

Overview

Salary up to $90,600 annually

Responsibilities
  • Act as a liaison to accounting departments to resolve issues and manage the year-end process
  • Track and maintain an online database of grants submitted, awarded, and rejected
  • Approve purchasing documents and guide staff on expenditures according to grant policies
  • Monitor invoices for outgoing subawards and assist with daily grant financial operations
  • Coordinate proposal submissions, including gathering materials and developing budgets
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and/or experience that meets minimum education requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in grant administration or accounting
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a normal office environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of SUBS system and agency guidelines
  • Familiarity with grant administration processes and financial reporting
  • Experience with Workday Software and computerized accounting systems
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience in analytical thinking and problem-solving within a grant management context
