Remote Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Superstate

As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer at Superstate you will help lead our team in building open, transparent, frictionless financial blockchain primitives. You will be given the opportunity to design, build, test, and launch products that make DeFi more capital-efficient, accessible, and useful. We work in Rust, Typescript, and Solidity and are forever learning and optimizing everything we make in the name of correct coding.

What You'll Do:

Lead, build and test our infrastructure as code efforts

Build and own our alerting and monitoring infrastructure

Build back-end web services that interact with blockchains

Ensure the correctness of financial algorithms

Keep a pulse on the Trad Fi/DeFi ecosystem and identify improvements or areas of growth

Enthusiastically collaborate with a small team, owning and planning projects for long-term impact

Teach and mentor other engineers

What You Bring to the Engineering Team:

Expertise in building fault tolerant, high performance, and highly available cloud infrastructure in AWS

Familiarity building web-services for highly-trafficked websites

Familiarity with SQL, query planning and optimization

Exceptional judgment, strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills with a strong analytical mindset

5+ years of professional engineering experience

BA or BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience

Familiarity with the current DeFi ecosystem

Experience with these Technologies is a "Nice to Have:"

Pulumi or Terraform

AWS - Fargate, RDS, Cloudfront, EC2, ECS, Nitro Enclave

Rust

Postgres

Docker

Typescript

Layer 2 blockchains (e.g. Arbitrum, Optimism) and cross-chain bridges
