About Ladder

We are looking for someone to join our Business Operations team and help lead strategic planning, enhance performance management and forecasting, develop new processes and operating cadences, and support key cross-functional initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a mix of Strategic Planning, Analytics, and Operations background. They will have demonstrated experience providing strong business analytics, and delivering on projects of all sizes.

They must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities.

• Lead or program manage multiple strategic initiatives at any given point. Examples include drafting business cases for a new product idea, evaluating the impact of a new partnership, or strategizing to drive further monetization
• Drive business reporting to leadership across Ladder: act as the primary point of contact for sales, forecasting, and other business data; you’ll know why we over- or underperform in a given week
• Assist with strategic planning: identify opportunities to influence, support, and execute on our strategy; assist with quarterly and annual planning processes
• Prioritize and size initiatives: evaluate impact, resource requirements, and timelines
• Collaborate and coordinate cross-functionally: navigate Ladder’s functions, gather and analyze data from multiple sources to inform decision-making at all levels
• Build efficient processes and implement new systems: identify high-priority initiatives and improvement areas, and devise or implement new processes or systems

• Start-up mentality; desire to roll up your sleeves and problem-solve
• BA / BS degree or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of experience in a business strategy role (Operations at a technology company, management consulting, investment banking, etc.)
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects end to end
• Outstanding executive-level verbal and written communication skills
• Passion for solving complex problems and building scalable processes
• Ability to embrace ambiguity and see around the corners
• Meticulous attention to detail, follow-through, and resourcefulness
• Experience working with large datasets and applying practical statistical analyses
• Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
• Comfort working in a high-growth, evolving environment

The base pay range targeted for this position is $ - $ per year. Base pay is determined by market location and may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This role is eligible for equity and benefits as described above.
