Overview
This role is located onsite in San Diego, California. Centura Wealth Advisory (CWA) is seeking a highly organized and proactive Business Development Associate to support the Strategic Relationships team. This role assists with planning deliverables, relationship management, and administrative tasks for ultra-high-net-worth individuals and sophisticated professional partners. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, responsive, and eager to contribute to a high-performance team.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to advanced financial and tax planning concepts while developing foundations in client service, operations, and project coordination.
- Client & Partner Coordination
- Coordinate communication and logistics with prospective clients and Centers of Influence (COIs)
- Assist in the process for meeting preparation and follow-up
- Manage document collection, intake, and maintain organized client files
- Planning Support
- Assist with the preparation of planning deliverables, including tax projections, balance sheets, pricing analyses, and proposals
- Prepare and send planning engagement agreements
- Conduct market research to support planning initiatives
- Operational & Administrative Support
- Maintain accurate activity tracking records in Salesforce CRM
- Monitor CRM inbox and ensure data is logged and updated appropriately
- Create and maintain SOPs for the Strategic Relationships team
- Provide general internal support for operational projects and administrative needs
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Calendar Management
- Schedule and confirm meetings with prospective clients, existing clients, and professional partners
- Manage the calendars of Strategic Relationships team members, including coordinating internal and external appointments
- Follow up with leads to ensure timely scheduling of consultations and follow-up meetings
- Experience
- 2-3 years of experience in financial services, wealth management, or a professional services environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with Salesforce CRM
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and support multiple team members and projects
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field
- Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative mindset with a willingness to support various team needs
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive, solution-oriented attitude
- Proficiency with Salesforce and Microsoft Office, preferred
- Compensation: $70k - $75K / year
