This role: We are looking for a Procurement Coordinator to join our growing team. This will be someone who challenges what we do daily and thrives working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines helping us build for the future.

Responsibilities
  • Raising Purchase Orders based on the needs of the Project Team.
  • Liaising with the Suppliers regarding any supply or delivery issues. Proactively checking with Suppliers before deliveries occur.
  • Support the estimating department by providing the latest product information, assisting with supplier inquiries, material pricing, and maintaining the estimate system product files.
  • Supporting the Procurement Manager with maintaining supplier relationships and driving forward with achieving discounts.
  • Assisting with implementation of process and procedures to ensure continuity within the business.
  • Monthly updates on current systemic pricing.
  • Validation of receipt of goods before payments against invoices are made.
  • Booking and payment of hotels booked outside of the Navan System.
  • Verification that Navan Expense Card Usage is within company policy.
  • Assigning Navan Card Business Expenditure to Projects in Procore.
  • Handling supplier defective goods and returns in accordance with our ISO:9001:2015 accreditation.
Requirements

You'll have a proven track record of:

  • Proficient in the use of Productivity and Collaboration Software such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint etc. across multiple platforms such as smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.
  • Excellent communication, including ability to adapt communication styles and outstanding listening skills with ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to use own initiative as well as work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.
  • Good knowledge of Workflow Management Systems, including but not limited to raising purchase orders, receipting goods and overall understanding of financial process.
  • Able to remain calm and efficient when working in a fast-paced environment to tight time frames.
  • Confident communicating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Able to develop and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Able to adapt to changes in priorities maintaining effective management of expectations.
  • Excellent listening skills with ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

  • Experience with in a procurement/purchasing environment.
  • Business Administration qualification or relevant experience
  • Experience of liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes, including the anti-bribery policy, while adhering to the Environmental and Quality Management System in alignment with ISO standards and the requirements of the NERS accreditation.
