What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Develop and execute strategic vision and direction for the Benefits and Underwriting businesses, achieving growth targets and profitability
  • Spearhead expansion initiatives and identify new market segments and product opportunities
  • Analyze industry trends, competitor landscape, and regulatory changes to formulate actionable strategies
  • Cultivate a results-oriented culture, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and represent the employer's interests in industry discussions
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Minimum of 7+ years of work experience in Commercial Insurance coverages and Employee Benefit Sales
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Required state A&H and/or benefits licenses
  • Proven ability to achieve annual budgeted growth and retention targets
  • Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and competitor strategies
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Experience in leading teams and driving organizational change
  • Familiarity with innovative insurance products and distribution channels
  • Established relationships with brokers and general agents (MGA)
  • Previous involvement in industry discussions and initiatives
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
