About the RoleThe Business Development Representative (BDR) is a front-line role responsible for generating new opportunities with startups, investors, and corporate venture teams
.
You’ll be the first point of contact for high-potential leads, ensuring every conversation is tracked, qualified, and moved into our deal pipeline.
This role is prospecting-heavy and operations-driven — ideal for a motivated professional who loves structured outreach, meticulous CRM work, and clear performance incentives. You’re not closing deals — you’re creating opportunities that fuel Initio’s growth engine.
What You’ll DoBook qualified meetings with founders, investors, and strategic partners.
Take inbound inquiries and conduct discovery calls to assess fit.
Host 3–5 discovery calls per day, providing a consultative introduction to Initio Capital’s ecosystem.
Create deal rooms and coordinate with internal teams for smooth handoffs.
Maintain CRM accuracy, updating every touchpoint, next step, and conversation note daily.
Collaborate with the marketing team to execute weekly account plans and follow up on warm leads.
Identify and engage decision-makers such as:
Seed & Pre-Seed: Founders & Co-Founders
Series A–B: Heads of GTM, Chiefs of Staff
Series C+ / Corporate: Heads of Partnerships or Corporate VC teams
Support two strategic pipelines:
Investor Outreach Track – Building relationships with venture firms, family offices, and angels.
Startup Outreach Track – Connecting with high-growth startups in business infrastructure sectors.

Uncapped bonuses: $100 per attended qualified discovery call — you can make $10,000+ monthly by hosting 4 demos/day.
Ongoing account research and planning provided by our marketing team — you focus solely on execution.
Clear path to promotion into Account Executive or Partnerships roles after 90–120 days.
Access to a global network of founders, investors, and venture partners in the Initio Capital ecosystem.
Work closely with experienced operators and gain exposure to VC deal flow, SaaS GTM strategy, and startup leadership.
Who You AreExperienced BDR, SDR, or Sales Coordinator (2–4+ years in SaaS, Venture, or Professional Services).
Obsessed with outreach, CRM hygiene, and precision follow-up

Excellent written and verbal communicator with strong business acumen.
Comfortable talking to founders, Heads of GTM, Chiefs of Staff, and C-suite leaders.
Proficient with CRM tools, Linked In Sales Navigator, and calendar automation platforms.
Energetic, curious, and coachable — you thrive in fast-moving, metrics-driven environments.
You enjoy structure: daily targets, weekly reviews, and clear KPIs.
Compensation$2,000/month trial (first 60 days)
$80,000/year OTE after trial (base + performance bonuses)

Earning Example:
Phase 1: 60-day trial focused on outbound & CRM operations
Phase 2: Full-time BDR — outbound + inbound + discovery + deal room creation
Phase 3: Promotion track into Account Executive, Head of BD, or Partnerships roles
