Associate Manager, Consumer & Market Insights

Our client, in consumer packaged goods (foods), is seeking a Associate Manager, Consumer & Market Insights to join their team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in both qualitative and quantitative research methods and able to translate consumer behavior into actionable business strategies.

Contract:

9 months (extension possible)
Pay Range: $50–$60 hourly (W2 only)

• Lead innovation research to support the development and optimization of new products and renovations across North American markets.
• Lead and execute consumer research projects using both qualitative and quantitative methods to support innovation and renovation initiatives.
• Translate business questions into research plans, develop hypotheses, and deliver insights that inform strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Marketing, Finance, and Planning to align insights with execution plans.
• Monitor consumer trends and the competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities and pilot new research tools and agile methodologies.

• Required:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Psychology, Sociology, or related field; advanced degree a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in consumer insights and innovation strategy, preferably in CPG or food-related industries.
• 2+ years of experience in CPG is required.
• Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methods, including survey design, focus groups, and data analysis.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
