Winpak is seeking a Market Manager – Food & Beverage to join the strategy and growth team within the Marketing department just outside Chicago in Sauk Village, IL. In this role, you will report to Winpak’s Strategy and Growth Leader and will lead marketing efforts across the entire product portfolio including Thermoforming Rigid Plastics, Flexo/Roto/Digital printing of Flexibles Pouches & Lidding, Injection Molding, Premade spouted Pouches, Sheet and Film Production, and Filling Machine Manufacturing & Servicing.

This position is focused on the NA Food and Beverage market segment, developing and executing strategies that drive profitable growth, expand market share, and strengthen Winpak’s value proposition, brand experience, and client journey. You will collaborate closely with Marketing Activation, Sales, Technical Product Management, Operations, Commercial Excellence, Finance, and other cross-functional partners to bring innovative packaging solutions to market and support customer success.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategies to improve product profitability, pricing, mix, volume, and market share.
• Develop and manage pricing strategies using company, competitive, and customer insights aligned to Winpak’s value proposition.
• Partner with Technical Product Management, Sales, and cross-functional teams to drive product development, commercialization, and customer bids.
• Identify and evaluate new business and growth opportunities, including partnerships, investments, and total packaging solutions.
• Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
• Support product marketing initiatives such as trade shows, customer innovation sessions, and marketing collateral development.
• Serve as a super-user of Marketing Technology (Mar Tech) tools and apply AI where appropriate to improve efficiency and execution.
• Represent Food & Beverage market strategy and expertise within the Growth Council.
• Strengthen the sales pipeline by assessing funnel health and driving demand generation initiatives.
• Develop and deliver technical and commercial content to enable Sales, Service, and R&D teams.
• Support customer meetings to uncover unmet needs, validate concepts, and position solutions.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with industry experts, suppliers, and customers.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; MBA preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in product management, product development, or related marketing roles, including client-facing work.
• Proven success commercializing products from concept through launch and sustained market performance.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Finance, Operations, and Customer Service.
• Solid understanding of core business, marketing, and financial principles.
• Proficient in standard business and marketing tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Canva, project management, CRM, and video platforms).

Compensation Range

The compensation range provided is a general guideline only. Pay will be determined based on the candidate's experience and expertise and is subject to vary. $130,000 – $160,000, commensurate with experience and leadership scope.
