This position is remote in the Western Region of US
Evaluates, analyzes, and develops business processes and methodologies to implement and enhance cost‑effective standard operating procedures. Audits existing procedures for effectiveness and compliance. Investigates and develops solutions to operational business needs. Ensures business operations support the strategic plan.
Vendor Management TeamWe are looking for a dedicated, focused, professional and dynamic individual to become a vital part of the Vendor Management Team at MVTRAC & SCM. You will play a pivotal role in managing relationships with Repossession Agents in the western Region which includes the following States:
Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.
Support the Agent management processes of onboarding new Agents, post repossession and agent compliance.
Main Responsibilities- Vendor Relationship Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard new repossession agents based on predefined criteria and business needs. Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with vendors, ensuring clear communication channels and alignment with company goals. Conduct regular performance reviews and audits to assess vendor performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Operational Oversight: Coordinate repossession activities when needed to ensure timely and compliant vehicle recovery. Monitor and manage repossession assignments, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to legal and industry regulations. Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce risk in repossession operations.
- Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality standards for repossession procedures and vendor performance. Conduct quality checks and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Perform cost and benefit analysis. Gather, analyze, and interpret data related to repossession activities and vendor performance. Generate reports and insights to drive decision‑making and identify areas for improvement.
- Compliance and Legal Adherence: Stay abreast of legal and regulatory changes in the automotive repossession industry. Ensure vendor compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Strong understanding of repossession processes, legal requirements, and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and drive results.
- Experience with collateral repossession.
- Collections, asset recovery, and repossession experience would be beneficial.
- High level of experience using G‑Suite, MS Office, and related applications.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for tracking and managing vendor relationships such as Recovery Database Network (RDN), Recovery Connect, and RISC.
Target Base Salary Range: $60,00- - $75,000
