Operations Manager
We are seeking a motivated and adaptable individual to fill a hybrid full-time role that combines Partner Service responsibilities and Product Fulfillment/Warehouse operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their workday, is comfortable with hands-on physical tasks, and also excels at communication and coordination with our partners. Your full-time workday would be onsite and would be split between these two functions.
The ideal candidate has a strong Christian faith and will enjoy playing a vital role in supporting our global Christian ministry dedicated to proclaiming the Gospel to the Jew first, growing the Messianic movement, and engaging the Church concerning Israel.
- Confer with partners by telephone, mail or email responding to their inquiries about products, giving, account status, mailing requests, prayer needs or other inquiries.
- Research and resolve Partner concerns/complaints by performing tasks such as exchanging products, refunding money, adjusting donations, and updating account status in Virtuous database.
- Process and reply to incoming partner correspondence; notate/update respective records accordingly.
- Document all partner contact, interaction and action taken in database of record.
- Process Checking Account Drafts (auto donations via checking accounts) & make updates to Checking Account Drafts as necessary.
- Follow up with Partners regarding issues i.e., credit card issues, product orders/discontinuation, account status/detail, donations, etc.
- Receiving and Inspection:
Receive incoming shipments from suppliers, inspect for damages, and verify accuracy against purchase orders. Report any damages or discrepancies to supervisor. - Shipping:
Provide a superior partner experience through shipment packaging; prepare orders for shipment within time commitments, including picking, packing, and labeling according to company standards. Communicates with lead/supervisor regarding any fulfillment issues or problems - Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including receiving, storing, and updating product name/code/specifications/quantities/shipping records in the warehouse management system. Perform regular stock counts as directed and coordinate with supervisor to reconcile discrepancies. - Warehouse Organization:
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Place products in designated storage locations to optimize space utilization. Move stock and supplies when required, sometimes utilizing a forklift. - Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency enhancement within the warehouse. Propose and implement solutions to improve productivity and reduce errors. - Mail Distribution:
This position also may require operation of mailroom machines, handwork, and other various tasks related to mailing operations, including the preparation of incoming and outgoing mail for distribution; weighing packages and computing charges using weight scale and rate chart; sealing, stamping and affixing postage for outgoing mail or packages; stamping, sorting and routing incoming mail.
